If you are required to file an income tax return and are not currently linked to a Tax Agent your 2013 income tax return is due for filing with Inland Revenue by 07 July 2013 and any tax payable is due 07 February 2014.
However, as Freedom Taxation is an IRD Registered Tax Agent IRD provides an extension of time arrangement. This enables a more even allocation of work throughout the year for both tax agents and IRD staff which has significant benefits for clients also. In addition to an extended filing date of 31 March 2014, the due date for terminal tax payments is also extended to 07 April 2014
